This is my first Smart Watch so I can't compare it to the others. But, it does feel very sturdy and well built to start with. The ability to put standard watch bands on it as well was a big plus for me. I replaced the leather strap with a Steel mesh one from Amazon. . It goes quite well with the gunmetal color on the ZW2.

The watch has speaker support which allows you to use it sort of like a speaker phone to talk to someone if you should desire. I have streamed music to it, used it for phone calls, and a few more things with Autowear and Tasker.

Overall, the watch is very good, it does have shortcomings though - on a sunny day outdoors, you will have trouble reading the display, this can be somewhat solved by turning the brightness to max, but be ready for that.

It is not round, which does limit somewhat the selection of watch faces. However, you can use almost any watch face out there including round ones and it will display it without problems.

Overall, I have been quite happy with the watch, I have excellent battery life and am not afraid to submerse it in water when I am washing my hands or the occasional reaching into sink of clean water to pull a plug. It has limited water resistance. I have not pushed it so far as to wear it in the shower or have it wet for more than a few seconds at a time.

I bought a Truffol one on Amazon for like $29, they make a big deal out of having solid metal links rather than stamped & folded ones... That might just make it needlessly heavy but hey, I liked the simpler parallel link aesthetic of it (been wanting one like this ever since that first Moto 360 teaser years ago).

No pics cause neither the band nor my SteelConnect adapters have arrived, but someone actually modified that band and posted pics of it on the ZW3 sans adapter a few months ago (how I found it), used to be priced higher too.

There's definitely cheaper bands, I actually bought one with stamped links for my 360 with the intention of modifying it but never got around to it, didn't look too cheap but it felt like it on close inspection, YMMV. Truth be told, the quality of the PVD plating on black ones should probably be the biggest concern.

SteelConnect's bands are expensive because of the reversible thing/gimmick... They might be decent, I dunno, with QR pins it's pretty easy to swap bands out to change up your look so I didn't think that was worth the expense either.

I made the mistake of purchasing one from Ebay it works but the magnet is weak and you have to play with it. I purchased another from Amazon and its as good as the original one that came with the watch! This one looks good, Amazon reviewers check out ok:

Got it on amazon here. Looks to be a blackish one as well if that's more of what you're looking for. Mine came with the bonus pins but not the tool (getting in touch with buyer to see why that was).

I was able to install it fine cuz the original band had the quick release, but in the future will probably need the tool to remove this band.

It's quite comfy and wasn't hard to remove some links with a paperclip/hammer to get the sizing right.

I think this one was sold as a Gear Band. It was $11, still holding up well. EDIT: I looked up my order from 2017, when I bought mine it was $11.

thats what i wound up getting, came with tool. adjustable and once you understand how it works it seems like it'll be decent. the reviews can't be trusted tho, i was expecting it to be magnetic when it showed up and it's not. quick release was nice, but i'd rather a watchband that isn't made for AIDS patients

I got the grey one and use it for my zenwatch 2. Its in related purchases for the 3 on Amazon, so I assume it fits. The grey is very sharp. Not sure about the extra battery, as I have the 2.
