Get a cigar tube like this that have many styles..

I got one of these things, a telescoping single cigar holder:

It will fit most stogies and keep it from getting the wrapper horked. I also have a two cigar Porsche Design carbon fiber exterior with cedar interior holder that I got as a best man gift. It's possibly one of the most beautiful things to look at. But it doesn't hold larger cigars, so might be a little impractical.

yeah i will be, i'll find some nifty way to protect them, if not i might stop back at the shop before i go and get (this is the part where you can tell i don't know anything) a few of those protective tubes.

This is a great humidor for very cheap. Learn online how to season it and calibrate it using salt/water.

If you have a local store near you, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by and purchasing your cigars from them. They will give you all the advice that you need. They will also usually give you a free cutter/lighter which is essentially all you need.

Edit. If you are just starting. You don't need a humidor. They just look fancy. You can toss one of these in the plastic bag you buy the cigars in and its basically humidified for up to 60 days.

Just be aware that over a 50 gauge they start to get tight.

I use this type of tube for pocket carry for ego-c and twist types. I think if you look around you can find one with a suitable diameter for a eVic
