Yikes!

That reminds me of my situation. I'm super-sensitized to dog and cat allergens, to the point where if a car goes by with a dog in it with the window open, and I happen to be downwind and inhaling at the same time, I get sick for several days.

I go out as early in the morning as possible, when there are fewer dogs out, to buy groceries and get allergy shots. There are also fewer people in grocery stores, early in the morning, so that might help you. Also I wear a full-face respirator with HEPA filters, which helps some, but doesn't make the streets safe for me. I buy stuff online rather than going to stores, except for groceries - it helps to avoid encountering dogs.

Cats are different in where they appear. People rarely take cats around with them, but then cats can be seen here and there, wandering around on their own.

You could go with something like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009POIWAC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and protect your eyes, too! (I have one of these, they're awesome).
