PERFECT FIT - SAE & DOT FMVSS-108 certified standard 6" size makes it easy to upgrade the dim, burnt-out, or damaged lights on your tractor, trailer, or work truck.READY FOR THE WEATHER - With a sonically sealed, submersible, IP67 waterproof rating, our lights are better suited to deal with the elements. Go ahead, back them into a lake, they won't mind.BRIGHTER LIGHTS SAFER NIGHTS - We designed our tail lights with 10 super-bright colored LEDs behind colored diffused polycarbonate lens for true to color, improved visibility. Why? Because getting rear-ended can really ruin your day.WORKING SMARTER NOT HARDER - We like it when things are easy, so we've included an easy to use grommet for you to upgrade your lights in mere minutes. We also added a space-saving 90 degrees connector with 12" of wiring for installation in tight spaces.STAND OUT - Our amber and red lights offer two intensity levels to function as parking lights or turn/brake lights, while the white lights offer a straightforward, one intensity, super-bright reverse/back-up light.

Something like this. Tie them into my fog lights since they aren't part of the lamp monitoring system on the 3rd gens. Also thought about the LED light strips you get at parts stores, but decided against them. They don't seem very durable and they are needlessly expensive for what you get.

You can also buy the lights in a 1" diameter as well. And if you think LEDs would be too bright you can also get the lights with a standard 194 bulb.

I don't have to worry about mounting as I have a bug guard, the small short one. Which would hide the mounting.

I did this a couple years ago and was going to mount some lights. But my give a fuck wore out and I never got around to doing it. Also, I realized that I would either have to run a shit load of wire or some sort of quick disconnect since my grille is attached to the hood.
