I use black plastic plant trays filled with pea gravel. Works pretty well. (Maybe don't get them from Amazon, though.. That's waaay too expensive)

I attached one to a piece of plywood that’s right about it’s size and added some feet to the rear to give it an angle for drainage. I only use it when I feed them or flush it with a PH water. Otherwise it they sit in a circular tray Hope that helps. I’ll post some extra pics if you like.
