Not the biggest fan of the smell but it seriously gets the job done. Regarding your update, I can't speak on seborrheic dermatitis but Alaffia's shea does come from co-op trades in West Africa, Togo in particular.

I have Kariderm brand because I'm Canada, but if I was in the US I'd buy Alaffia (amazon link). Make sure to choose unrefined for the most benefits, and I personally prefer fair trade.
EDIT: you only need a tiny amount per night so unless you're using the butter elsewhere on your body a little lasts a long time.
