I have an Allway glass scraper, I've been using it for everything since I've got it.

Cleaning putty knives, cleaning plasterweld off tile, paint off glass, whatever. It's pretty damn nice. Just don't make any sharp turns with it and you're solid.

EDIT: Kinda funny to see Goof Off here today, I spent the better part of my afternoon cleaning up after the other maintenance crew's sloppy work. They stained a floor and then painted the ceiling, getting paint everywhere. Fun stuff.

We used this to get paint off the sides of our tank (it was a craigslist purchase, think it was originally for glo-fish as it came with neon plastic plants & blue light and all sides but the front were painted black) and it was really effective.
