Those puzzle squares for kids rooms work well, too. I like them because you can rearrange them to fit whatever your project is.

I'm going through this as well with my 5 month old twins. The other day, I picked up my daughter when I got home from work to say hello and give her a hug. My son watched this happen, puzzled for a second, then stuck his bottom lip out and started absolutely wailing. They got jealous of attention so much faster than I ever anticipated.

Basically, we don't have a solution, but we just try to spend time with each parent getting some one on one time with each twin as much as we can. I think unfortunately multiples just tend to develop a thicker skin about not getting attention because the reality is, we can't give each of them our undivided attention 24/7.

One thing we have done is buy some of those interlocking soft floor tiles (like these) and we keep a big section assembled in the living room so that we can do tummy time with each one at the same time (activity gyms are too small for both at the same time now) and try to have "together" time where we read a book, both look at and grab for the same toy, etc while they are in a Twin Z. I'm naively hoping this starts to teach them that having play time where they're getting divided attention from mom or dad and there's this other twin there too can still be enjoyable.
