I live in us planting zone 7 and it usually tops out at 110, our indoor temp can fluctuate into the 80s. It was much harder to keep the 10 gal cool but with the added stability of the larger tank and the fans going all the time I can easily keep the water temp to the mid 60s. The only time I have a little trouble is during large water changes....the tap water is warmer than the tank. This is the fan system I have.
Thanks! Also, how much does the power compact lights usually raise the water temp by? If i put one of those aquarium chiller fans in between the lights and water would that help?
