They are between the trucks. It's a drop through, so I figured that standing over the trucks would be a bit awkward. This is the board I bought. Not the precise setup as I bought it from a local shop.

It has a little bit of bend and flex in the middle, but not heaps. It's got a nice concavity too, it's really easy to carve on.
