I use ARM & HAMMER™ Essentials™ Solid Deodorant, Unscented

I like it because it works great and has no aluminum, parabens, colorants, or animal-derived ingredients. It does have scent but I think it comes naturally from its ingredients, it's not added so it's not perfumey, if thats a word. The scent is not strong. I commented this even tho it has some smell because crystal deodorant doesn't work that well for some people. (happened to my bf, and he switched to Arm and Hammer too) anyways YMMV.

In terms of unscented deodorant, I use Arm & Hammer. The main selling point for me is the fact that it's all natural and cheap. I suffer from hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), so my pits get really smelly really quickly. It works though, even if it means I have to apply it anywhere between 2-3 times per day. I avoid antiperspirant because the idea of clogging my pores overnight with aluminium makes me nervous. Plus I can't find conclusive evidence of whether or not it's truly safe to use.

For soap, I would definitely recommend against any "manly-smelling" products. I use Dove because it's great at keeping my skin from drying out and I always feel nice and soft after I take a shower.

As for shampoos, I don't really use anything to wash my hair. I just rinse off whenever I'm in the shower and that takes care of any lingering odours. I kinda prefer styling my hair with my natural oils anyway rather than bombarding it every day with all kinds of products.

When I use fragrances, I want that to be all people smell from me. I don't like the idea of my expensive eau de toilette mixing with Berry Blast Axe shampoo, Mountain Madness Old Spice body wash, and Great Googly Grape Gillette aftershave. I use 1-2 sprays of my fragrance and leave it at that. It's meant to be intimate and subtle enough for just that one person you want to make out with—not the entire room.

In addition to what people have said about saying it works better for you, if this is going to be a problem with them you could also go with an unscented men's deodorant. Mitchum makes one, as does Speed Stick and Arm & Hammer.
