I like mine: https://www.amazon.com/Avantree-Bluetooth-Headphones-COMFORTABLE-LIGHTWEIGHT/dp/B00J0BXPD4

Affordable, 40-hour battery life, comfortable and they sound good, too.

They make a "pro" version with more padding, foldable arms, and supposedly lower latency, but I've never had a problem with my "standard" set.

https://www.amazon.com/Avantree-Wireless-Bluetooth-Foldable-Headphones/dp/B01A0EAYDI

The Pro does look nice, though.

Here's 40h for less than $50

The sound quality is OK, but they really do last for a stupidly long time. I use them all day at work and have gone for 3 days without charging a few times... though I generally want to charge them every night since I'd be sad without music during my commute.

The following should work with their TV so that they can simultaneously use the TV speakers for him and the Toslink/RCA hookup for her. I won't give guarantee's but it should since it's at least a newer TV model since you mention it being a smart TV. So if you wanted to buy the bluetooth transmitter and test it it out with a bluetooth device/speaker you already own (if any) before going any further, you could do that.

I did a similar hookup for my SO's family for different reasons, and set them up with this bluetooth transmitter (it has aptX support too): https://amazon.com/HomeSpot-Wireless-Bluetooth-Transmitter-supported/dp/B00QV77YIC - There are other devices out there like this, this was a relatively cheap option for them and having never used it before, it worked and with no problems. I'll likely pick one up myself for future use too.

I didn't set them up with bluetooth (wireless) headphones but instead bluetooth speakers. But I'd highly recommend looking for bluetooth headphones that support the aptX codec (preferably with Low Latency) so the voices are in sync as much as possible if not perfect. I've seen the difference with and without it as well as it annoys more people without it and it's noticeable.

I'm not sure of your price range for the bluetooth headphones, but here are a few from Amazon that support aptX and SOME (not all) with Low Latency too:

These over the ear headphones work well and have multi function buttons on one side.

I read the reviews it seems like these are good pairs for my needs (I don't need super good sound quality)
Pair those with the v moda boom pro for a mic.

What do you think?

Edit: added another pair

I actually really liked these when I reviewed them. The battery lasts forever, they sound pretty decent (6.5/10), they feel good, and they isolate pretty well (but not noise cancelling). These might be on the lower end of your budget, but they're just fine for everyday use.

I'm looking for a good money-to-value wireless headphones. I am going to use with my PC with a bluetooth adapter. They both seems to have good battery life, but the Avantree is that much more comfortable?

I'll be using it several hours a day, so comfort is a key to me. ;D
Ah, the Avantree is a about 30% more expansive here.

What to you think?
My budget is around US$50.

I have these Avantree headphones that support aptX and they connect using aptX in Android Oreo. It's set to system default under the Bluetooth Audio Code in Developer options.

As an value pick, I would go with these Avantree. The sound quality is what you pay for, and admittedly pretty decent for its price. Obviously you will not get audiophile quality sound from these but if that was what you were after, you would've bought a nice DT770 right? I personally use a SteelSeries Siberia 840, for its latency in gaming. Admittedly I would not buy it since I was given these to try, but it serves my purpose for now. It has decent sound for my purposes but it isn't great.

u/SunSorched · 1 pointr/TrollXChromosomes

Okay so this is a little more than you want to spend, but my and a graphic design friend of mine were drooling over this the other day.

Though if he is more 3D, a fun gift could be a 3D Pen.

Of something else fun, I don't know a single guy that doesn't want a drone.

I don't know his aesthetic preferences are, but if I were to get bluetooth headphones though, I would got with something harder to loose.

I have owned these for about a month. I use them almost every day. The battery indicator on my phone has not moved. THE BATTERY IS STILL FULL. At this rate I'll go most of the year without ever charging them, it's insane. For comfort I would rate them 9/10, the ear pads are very soft and supple but the head band could be a little softer. Sound quality is great for the price, not booming bass but the perfect level of bass imo and clear mids and highs.. These will block out enough sound, but are not noise cancelling.

u/Hopeless_Baffoon · 1 pointr/headphones

I'm looking to get my brother some nicer (to him at least) headphones for his high school graduation. Looking back, a nice pair of over ear, closed back headphones would have been really nice when I had a roommate that constantly talked to himself when he was gaming or was listening to his music through speakers. That's not to mention all the other noise associated with the dorms.

So basically, I'm looking for something that's adequate for dorm use (at least decently noise isolating, powered by laptop), could be used walking to class (so powered by ipod/phone), and preferably under $100 (he's 18, not the most responsible, and he'll be in the dorms where it might be stolen).

these look pretty good due to the good reviews, ability to switch between cable and no cable, and low price point. I'm not sure on the quality,

I looked at the Senn HD558s and I think they might fit the bill decently, even though they are open back. Thoughts?

These Sonys seem pretty alright as well.

I'm open to any other suggestions.

Should I buy Audio-Technica ATH-M20x Professional Headphones: https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AUD-ATHM20X-Professional-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR18

or

Avantree wireless headphones? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J0BXPD4

I want great portable music audio wherever I go, but audio technica has too long of a cord. And the Avantree is of questionable audio (I don't know the quality).

u/Wrath_99 · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

Nah, I'm using an Avantree Audition I have a 10 fort aux cord connecting them to my Cooler Master N200 with a M5a78L-m usb3 plus MB.

u/popje · 1 pointr/headphones

(Budget)

These ones (Avantree)

or

these ones (August EP650)

Also, do anyone know if the mic will work on my xbox one ? I have a 3.5mm jack controller. I am open to other suggestions in the same price range as well.

Reposting because I want some more opinions;

Which is the better one;

The MEE Audio Air-fi Matrix 2 (https://www.amazon.com/MEE-audio-Bluetooth-Wireless-Headphones/dp/B00DOP3NPW)

or the Avantree Audition (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00J0BXPD4/ref=pd_aw_lpo_23_tr_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=EEGFT2FH61519RXP84BZ)

or the Cowin E-7 (is it worth it paying the $10 premium for active noise cancelling?? (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B019U00D7K/ref=pd_aw_lpo_23_bs_img_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=EEGFT2FH61519RXP84BZ&th=1#LUXAddressSelector_1495111143837)

The things that I find most important are comfort, sound leakage, sound quality and build quality. I would like these, especially comfort and build quality, to be taken in account.

I know what you're saying...but there is a huge difference in these:
https://www.amazon.com/Avantree-Bluetooth-Headphones-COMFORTABLE-LIGHTWEIGHT/dp/B00J0BXPD4/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1523028485&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=7.1+headphones+wired&psc=1

compared to these:

The over the ear, 7.1 headphones are 10x the immersive gaming experience. Those in ear earbuds vs a nice quality pair of 7.1 headphones are like night and day when I am knee deep in a gameworld.

Budget is as low as possible but probably nothing more than $100. Want bluetooth functionality for PC so I can watch Netflix and for listening on my walks through my phone, with good wired sound quality when I am working on music at my desktop. Preferably full sized headphones that cover the ear, at a reasonable price. Obviously you pay what you get, and I found a few cheap options that I am a little unsure about sound-quality wise. Any other recommendations would be lovely. These are the two I am thinking about

I've been using these for a while, and I really like them. I've played a bit of Guitar Hero and Osu, so I just switch to the audio jack whenever I want to play those games. Having the option to do both in one headset is the best of both worlds honestly.

Probably the best you'll find under $100. Very well reviewed on both amazon and enthusiast sites. If you want something a bit flashy to wear on the street then these are your next best option : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAJGGA2

After my kid knocked over my laptop with wired headphones plugged in rendering the headphone jack useless, I've been a big fan of bluetooth headphones.

https://www.amazon.com/Avantree-Bluetooth-Headphones-COMFORTABLE-Lightweight/dp/B00J0BXPD4

I've used that for almost 2 years. After 20 months the USB interface popped into the headset and they did a warranty replacement. Aside from music I use it to make Google Voice/Hangouts / Skype calls.
