Ok, here are a few more!

  • For the flight: We rented a CARES harness so I didn't have to be miserable the entire flight with a squirmy worm on my lap, plus it's much safer for them to be secured. I also got her a little toddler backpack that I filled with new (cheap and small) toys that she had never seen before to keep her occupied. Also bring TONS of snacks for the plane.

  • Consider a test run with your stroller and backpack all packed out how you think you'll want it for Disney, and then go out for a day trip to your local zoo or city or whatever. It'll give you a better idea about what will actually be useful in practice.

  • Even if your kid doesn't like to be held much anymore, there will still be times when you need to hold them at Disney, and a baby carrier will really be handy. Whether you're waiting in line, waiting for fireworks, walking a semi-far distance, you might want to have a carrier handy. We have the Boba Air, which is great because it's lightweight and packs up small into it's own bag so you can store it easily when you're not using it. But your arms will thank you with a carrier, ESPECIALLY on the buses!

  • Packing cubes are really helpful for keeping all of the baby stuff organized, and also gallon ziplock bags. I packed three ziplock bags for each day of our trip: one for clothes for that day, one for snacks for that day, and one with diapers, disposable bibs, and disposable changing mats. Then I could just grab the ziplocks out of the suitcase for every day and throw them into our backpack, and at the end of the day whatever didn't get used just got tossed back into the suitcase to take home. Creates a bit more work in packing at home, but makes everything super easy at Disney. Then we used a small size packing cube for the baby stuff we'd need every day, like wipes, diaper cream, a back-up pacifier, etc., that we could easily grab in and out of the stroller/backpack. Keeping everything organized will help you not feel rushed and frazzled when you are trying to figure out what you need to bring to the parks every day.

  • These toy leash things were very helpful for keeping our daughter's sippy cup and a book or toy connected to her stroller so we didn't have to worry about her tossing anything overboard and losing it.

  • We brought a muslin blanket and a few clips to secure it to the sun shade of the stroller to block out sights and sun so our daughter could nap a bit easier. She still didn't want to nap much with all of the excitement, but it helped.

  • A stroller saddlebag can also be really helpful for storing extra things throughout the day -- uneaten snacks, purchases, stuff you want to keep easily accessible.

  • If you use white noise for your kid to sleep at home, don't wean them off until your trip! It's great in the hotel room to cut down on any outside noise and so you don't have to creep around quite as quietly as you might need to without it.
