Just the covers, we use bamboo diapers and then the covers. Never tried the all in ones or pockets.

We are using a pattern from this book: https://www.amazon.ca/Dritz-Babyville-Boutique-Cloth-Diapers/dp/B0068RQPZI

It's a pocket diaper with two petal soakers sewn in the inside layer. You can pull the diaper inside out to wash and dry. The pattern was super easy (and I'm a person who has to call my mother whenever I have to put in a zipper or figure out how to turn a handbag inside out through the liner hole when sewing). I found the pattern in this book that I found at Jo-Ann.

She does! We started making them when she came up for a visit. She went home and got busy, I have made one since then. Hers are alot nicer then mine, my sewing skills are nowhere near hers. But she is teaching me.

We used Babyville as a template. Its has several different patterns and styles, we used the basic one.

we changed it alittle. She cuts out 2, sews the wrong sides together and turnes out. She didn't like the plastic part of the PUL near the babys skin. Some she used PUL for both and some have a fabric liner ( a moisture wicking kind, starts with "A" dont remember the name)
The Fold over Elastic is Easy but really expensive, by having a liner you can use normal 1/4 or 3/8th inch braided.

I have the snap applying machine here so I have to finish them with snaps.

Let me know if you have any questions!
