I have bamboo charcoal shoe inserts that I put in whenever I'm not wearing my shoes. It doesn't completely eliminate all odor/moisture, but it's the best thing I've found besides washing them (if possible).
Edit: These are the ones I use. They're supposed to be "rechargeable" by putting them out in the sun for a while, but I've found that I still need to replace them every so often.

I also hear that hydrogen peroxide works really well, my friend just put some on a rag and swabs out the shoes
