Also I ended up splurging on the BeoPlay E8s due to a Black Friday deal that brought them down to $230 (from $300), but they're backordered so might be a while before I actually get to try them out. Based on Amazon reviews it sounds like they had some issues on launch, but have resolved most of them by now.
