Ant invasions are disgusting. I am typically for non-toxic solutions - I make my own organic cleaning solutions and all that, but none of those worked for ants. What is super toxic, but super effective is the Maxforce bait gel. Ant invasion will be over in less than 24 hours - so worth it!
I use this in my home. Whenever I find more than a few any exploring, or if they found a random crumb, I squirt a little bit of this stuff. They swarm and it really lowers the ant colony activity for a few months.
