This cushion works well - I've used it for years. There is also a simple solution that I advise people of - sit in a comfortable position, but with your back against a wall! Or, a nice straight-back chair.
One of my meditation instructors told us to try to ignore, or use it as an anchor and focus on it. If it gets to be too distracting, she encouraged us to just move. It only happens to me from time to time. I use one of these cushions and rarely have my legs fall asleep
