Plus a waterfall. I also have a separate inline UV but I don't think I need it.
Either way you really do need to oversize to keep the water clear.

Wow good to know. I didn’t know about this. Pond liner seems the easiest but don’t know how to attach it to the wall of that horse trough.

It certainly moves a lot of water. I learned my lesson with a cheap kit pump last year, and did a rebuild of the plumbing this Spring.
