I agree with the commenter below with the witch hazel right after you exfoliate, then follow with your anti bump product. I use and recommend one called Bikini Zone. Pretty inexpensive at the drugstore, and works well. I usually tell my clients to apply 2-3x a day for the first few days post wax depending on how prone they are to ingrowns.

If you can't find bikini zone, the salon/spa you are going to usually has a product they will recommend as there are tons of great ones out there right now.
Bikini Zone? I apply it right after and then twice daily thereafter. If I'm strict about it, 0 ingrown hairs. Good luck! Smells slightly strange at first but I'm told it goes away (ahem). I don't know to deal with the old ones though, just know how to prevent new outbreaks..
