I had to buy a different bottle for this same reason. I like it because it’s the perfect size for shaking (shorter but wider than the aluball one) and it doesn’t leak.

I’ve had it for over 2 months with no issues other than my dog chewed off the loop on top.

Sun Umbrella is really helpful if you're going to be outside all day, and it's hard to beat this price at $25.74 with prime shipping - https://www.amazon.com/Protection-Cheater-Vented-Canopy-Umbrella/dp/B06XL15G7Z

A shade tent is even better, but far less portable. The Kelty shade tents that are held up with collapsible tent poles look nice and more portable than standard EZ-up metal framed shade tents.

I like /u/tivo713 's list below. Especially getting a good waterproof bag, a large insulated water bottle, an external battery back to charge your phone, and I really like the portable chairs like the Alite Mayfly (though honestly I don't use mine a ton).

I also usually bring a little bag with several small items:

  • Blender Bottle for mixing gatorade or protein powder.
  • nail clippers
  • baby/foot powder
  • small microfiber towel - wash, dry, and powder feet at end of day
  • clean socks - for immediately after feet are washed/dried/powdered
  • wrist sweatband
  • latex/nitrile gloves (sunscreen application - just barely not as stupid as it sounds/looks)
  • lacrosse ball or somewhat softer dollar store rubber ball
  • small first aid kit with bandaids, tape, alcohol wipes, gauze, neosporin
  • trash bag (usually folded up small in a ziploc or twist-tied)
  • spare toilet paper (folded in small ziploc)
