I have the cheap Harbinger dip belt with the chain. It has worked well for weighted pull-ups and dips, but the chain is not good for belt squats. A loaded chain running across your thigh or pubic region hurts.

I considered going with the Spud Inc Belt Squat Belt, but it doesn’t have a posterior loop. It’d be fine if you go with a loading pin or landmine setup for belt squats. If I decide to try that method, I’ll probably grab this belt.

IronMind Hip Belt has loops for anterior and posterior attachments, but I didn’t want to invest $150 until I found the right setup.

Brute Belt offers the ability to load from the front and back, and it’s cheap. This is what I’m using for now, and it’s sufficiently comfortable for me. No sharp pains that one would experience with a chain belt.

I may eventually get the Spud and/or the IronMind belts to see if they’re significantly better and worth the extra cost. I’ll update you if and when that happens.

Use a weight belt. Personally, I use the Brute Belt. You can use dumbbells between your legs when you first start but they become difficult to hold as you increase in weight.
