Let me try to make sense of it:

Financially despairing people are rather upset.

There's a guy who's at his best when doing after-hours entertainment who loves stirring the pot.

~25% of the entire country thinks of him as a walking, talking "No" vote rather than a "Never" vote.

Other incumbents sold themselves at best as "sad necessities" rather than valiant life-improvers a la Obama. Bernie sold himself as a "necessary sadness" but never convinced people he could bite the selfish sycophants he rails against, just bark at.

The despairing idea that "'a painful new problem is better than the same old problem" to our financially despairing people, now leads to headlines that don't even belong on the Simpsons being real.

As for the future, in my opinion...HILLARY WAITS. She should take some dance lessons to spice up her jig. Meanwhile Bernard Sanders should hit the gym and tone up, in a mad Bernard Went Hard campaign and come back as "Hillary's Hound," and kick off the inauguration by suplexing Jeffrey Skilling through a table.
