I've been making it in my French press...about 1 tbsp per cup...about 3 cups per large French press...

Then after a cup...more hot water about 170 F...and maybe another spoonful of Maté...

I think I'm overdoing it
...just read that someone suggested one teaspoon per cup...oops...

I just bought the Canarias which is all small broken leaves, no twigs...

I've tried a cold brew version but can't remember how that went....

Ps...it made me want to cuddle your wife too...🤓
