Totally off topic (and I feel a bit snide given the topic) ... but I can’t help notice how humble Klopp is sometimes.
Always in his trackie, never in a suit.
He drives a Vauxhall (granted he advertises with Opel so it’s likely free) and he wears a hundred quid watch.
Other folk in his position would be rolling round in a Bentley with a Hublot Big Bang or some other monstrosity hanging off their wrist.
Link to Klopps watch if you want one.

G-shock are some of the most robust and durable watches out there. It should easily be able to handle hours under water on a daily basis. There's a reason many members of the armed forces wear g-shocks.

You have a few choices. You could either go quartz or automatic. Quartz is where you have a battery (and sometimes solar charging), and automatic is when the movement of your wrist winds a little spring in the watch. Automatic watches require resetting every few weeks because they are not as accurate, but some people think they are cool. I will assume you don't want to deal with that, but if you do, something from Seiko would be your #1 best bet for sure.

This particular watch (which is what I am wearing right now) looks delicate but by all means, it is not. It is meant for scuba diving so you can swim with it and it is very durable to the point where I have accidentally used it to block a lacrosse shot and it survived without a scratch.
If you want to go Quartz, and for 200$, probably solar, you will want to go Citizen.

I don't have a citizen myself but they are very highly reviewed over at /r/watches.
You could also go another rout and get a G-SHOCK, which is probably the most durable watch you can buy.

(Both of those are solar power).
I would encourage you to look above your price range a bit, especially if you want to go for a Citizen, because it allows you to get something like this that will last you forever, but you can still get something great for under $200.

The watches I listed here are much more versatile than most of the ones you linked to, (except for the G-SHOCK, don't wear that with a suit!) I will wear my Seiko Orange Monster with anything from a swim suit at the beach or with a black suit at a formal event. Buying from any of these three brands and not from a fashion/clothing brand that also makes watches will guarantee that your watch will last for a very long time. Feel free to PM me or ask for help at /r/watches if you have any more questions or want any recommendations.
You may consider adding the Mudman to make it muddier.
The obvious option would be the GW-9300 Mudman, although I'd be tempted to spend a little more for the GW-9400 Rangeman.
Most sports watches are more ruggedly built, like the G-Shock.
You're not gonna wear a nice watch mountain biking or to the gym. So putting a case on an apple watch in those instances makes sense, because while the apple watch is a sports watch, it's not necessarily built to be banged around all the time.
I am looking for a wrist watch to ask for as my Christmas gift from my parents. (i get to choose)
Need to pick soonish as shipping has to get it to New Zealand by Xmas
Here are my requirements:
analogue or digital
Probably would rather have analogue but digital will be much more likely to have the features i want
Must haves:
I study farming and am a beekeeper so outdoor a lot getting hands dirty.
Price is under $100 USD or around that amount. I will consider more expensive options.

something slightly cheaper than this would be good.

prefer to be slightly better than this

First of all you should know that the Pathfinder brand has been discontinued, all the new ones are ProTreks.
Now G-Shocks definitely are more durable, they are designed to be the toughest watches around after all. All G-Shocks have 200M water resistance (while many ProTreks have "only" 100M WR), shock resistance and more. Nevertheless, they still aren't completely indestructible, some people told me the resin band on theirs broke after a few years.
ProTreks are durable too of course. I've yet to use one myself, but I read about them online and there are many reports that prove they are too really quite durable timepieces. I would say you could probably feel safe wearing that for whatever, though if you plan on doing some really extreme or shocking stuff, a G-Shock could be a better choice.
Now for some recommendations for models you should check out of both lines. You should know that newer triple-sensor (ABC) Casio watches made after 2013 have a new and improved Triple Sensor Version 3 engine. I'll be recommending several Casios here I think you should check out, basing prices on Amazon (and it doesn't seem like ProTreks/Pathfinders are actually all that cheaper than G-Shocks); note that I don't actually have any personal experience with these ones, just what I read. Also note that of course you are able to find the watches elsewhere other than Amazon for different prices. Another important note on price is that this watches are usually available in different colors which also cost differently (here I chose the cheapest colors).
Anyway this was pretty thorough, hope I helped!
As for me I ended up going with a nice basic G-Shock G2900 plus a watch-strap compass. I just wanted a reliable watch (this one also has 10 years battery) and decided I don't really need those sensors.
Wow. It's a knock off of the G-Shock G-9300 Mudman.

Not sure if just any bracelet would fit, but there is a bracelet called a Combi Bracelet that third parties, and maybe even Casio sell that are a little heftier than the normal resin band that come on most G-Shocks. It's made of a combination of resin and metal and is made specifically for G-Shocks. Make sure it fits your particular model though.
If you don't mind the resin, but still want a hefty G-Shock, check out the G-Shock 'Mudman' G9300-1, G-Shock 'Rangeman' GW9400-1CR, G-Shock 'Frogman' GWF1000-1, or the G-Shock 'Riseman' G9200BP-1.
Kinda sounds like a GShock MudMan Amazon Link from reading the specsheet from casio it sounds like it hits on everything except maybe the countdown timer Casio specs just click on the full specs button when you get there and it has a full list.
It is a little above your price though, and its a gshock so it might be a little large, but thats part of the aesthetic.
