Using a pre-emergent isn't a must but it makes it easier on you through the growing season since you won't have to worry about weeds as much. Celcius can take care of any weeds you have now.

You would have to purchase your own sprayer. Look on Amazon and see what options are available. I like this one because it's easiest to use.

I do about 4k sq ft multiple times a year for fert/iron/herbicides/pre-ems..

I got a battery powered backpack sprayer for fathers day and it changed my life. I used to use a pump action one before and I was hurting for sure by the end of it..

A little expensive but worth it..
