This stuff seems to be like ant crack. I put it down Sunday night. The number of ants drastically reduced within hours. I still asee a straggler or two, but I feel like it's working better than anything else I have tried.

Yeah, they walk right over the dry ant baits without even stopping. I haven't tried the Terro or DuPont brands, but I've had really good luck with fipronil gel. Just make sure you keep it indoors, as this insecticide has been implicated in honeybee death.

I had the same problem last week, tiniest ants I've ever seen.
Researched options, and bought this stuff - Combat Ant Killing Gel with Fipronil.

Squirt it in the cracks where you see ants, and try to find the main entrance to their hive. It doesn't kill the ants immediately, they take it back to the hive and feed the others there. Then in a couple days the poison kicks in.

Tried it and 2 days later no more ants. This stuff is amazing.

I've had good luck with Combat Gel. You can squirt it into cracks or holes where your kiddo can't get to it.
