Steels are fun and all but you seemed to develop a delay after the first shot. You got in the habit of firing a shot and holstering. This became evident when you missed on the last steel.

I would suggest two or three things;

  1. Get a shot timer. Don't decide when to draw. Draw upon randomized time event. Until you get a shot timer, if anyone else is at the range, just stare at your target in a casual position, as if standing around looking at the cereal box at Wal Mart or something. When someone's gun goes off, draw and fire your drill. That can hold you over until you get a shot timer, such as http://www.amazon.com/Competition-Electronics-POCKET-TIMER-Cloths/dp/B004ZVR93Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1346557256&sr=8-1&keywords=shot+timer --- I'm not advocating that one, it's just the first Amazon search result. I was just pointing you toward the type of item. I know many that aren't that expensive as well.

  2. Change your drill. I love shooting steels, but that's more for fun, imo, than training drills. Get a 3x5 card and put it up on a cardboard/plywood target backer. Shoot at that. When the timer/shotclock pings, draw and fire two rounds into the 3x5 card. When finished, look around and ensure there are no more 'threats'. This gets you into the habit of not rushing to holster. This gets you into the habit of staying 'at the ready' until you are sure it's safe to put the gun away. You are being to quick to holster because you're still in psyched-up mode from having just fired rounds. You should never be in a hurry to holster.

  3. Your draw looks like it could use a LITTLE tightening up. You should start slow and go through the motions before speeding up and ingraining bad motions into your muscle memory. Not bad, though. Reference Paul Gomez' youtube channel, specifically this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NKngkVXMGg for some excellent information on basics and some more advanced topics.

    If this is your 'carry' gun, it's a serious tool that you expect to have to possibly use in defense of life or safety of you or those you care about; a responsibility.

I’ve had the pocket pro for about a year now and it has been flawless.
