Hey if you let me know what part of the world you are in, I may be able to hook you up with a group that can teach you how to play. Most orchestra's in the U.S. gladly take on new people and teach them to play.

I started out when I was kid using tabs and I really regret not learning to read right off the bat. It really slowed down my development as a player.
