From left to right

Cevinee Classic - bought more for the looks than anything else.

Grifiti Dootle - came with a fantastic mechanical pencil as well.

Big I Design Ti-Arto - I prefer retractable pens, but I couldn't pass up a pen that will work with pretty much all of the refills I have... and I have a lot of them. Great piece of gear.

Big I Design - Ti-click Classic - I just got this pen. It's a companion for my (not pictured) Click Pro.

Lamy Tipo - My first (and so far only) Lamy pen, it's not my favorite. Nice gimmicky pen, but I barely use it.

Wolfram Bolt Action - One of my kickstarter finds, this is a solid freaking pen. Tungsten is a heavy metal. You could probably bludgeon someone with this thing. It didn't come with a clip and it came with a sub-par spring, so it kind of sat in my collection for a few weeks. However, once I slapped a Fisher Space Pen clip on it and swapped the spring for a longer, stronger one this became a formidable entry into my EDC.

Karas Kustoms Render K - Got this on a Massdrop. I can appreciate the workmanship, but I can't jive with a cap that can't be screwed or otherwise attached to the back of the pen. That's how I lose them.

Pilot Axiom - My new favorite pen. It only takes the Dr. Grip Center of Gravity ink. Not a bad refill, but it doesn't leave any room for alternatives.

Cross Tech 2 - I would use this a helluvalot more if it weren't a twist pen.

Cross Click Classic - I would use this one a helluvalot more if it weren't so dang skinny.

Haha I completely feel you. I've somehow managed to hold on to my favorite pen for 3 years now though!

Cross click pen should do it! Actually it's slightly skinnier than many standard pencils.

Link to example but you can find them for less, different colors, etc.

Edit: Also, Staedtler Triplus Fineliner is skinnier than the Sharpie, could also work for you, but it feels like my Cross click is actually skinnier.

Cross Click. The writing is as smooth or smoother than Pilot G2. Very slim and sleek. Strong, sturdy metal build. I don't know how much writing you do, but if you write a lot, refill might be a concern. I haven't gone back to any other pen since owning this pen. Just try not to lose it or loan it to others.

I use the Cross Gel Ink and it's fantastic. Writes all the time, it's great for spinning in your fingers while bored and despite my dropping it a few times on the street and bouncing around, it still looks like the day I bought it. The click function is also satisfying and doesn't squeal or rattle.
