Again, im just looking on paper. You should do more research into it and at the very least read a decent bit of reviews off amazon. I would go for a laptop with a 1070. 1060 can run vr right now, but as it intensifies it may be better to "future proof" a bit by going for a gtx 1070. This is a 1060 model that they are reviewing so if you went for a 1070 you would be getting better performance.

If possible though I would get a desktop. They are more bang for your buck and can be upgraded. The best prebuilt desktop i have seen is the MicroCenter "Powerspec g313" and "Powerspec g413". If you do not have a microcenter you could have a place like NCIX build you a computer of your own parts choice for 50 dollars if you dont want to build your own. Alternatively you could try to find someone else to build it. Your last option should be ordering one from amazon who somewhere else as they are far overpriced. Building your own will be the cheapest. The powerspec g313 is almost the same price as if you build your own, with added bonuses such as 1 year warrant for the computer itself. Good luck

If you can push your budget a bit to $1350, I think both the Gigabyte P55 and the Eluktronics P650 would be two of your best options. Both have excellent specs with quad core i7 processors, 16gb of ram, 1TB HDD + 256gb SSD and a GTX 1060. They're both known to have pretty solid build quality as well, and to have good cooling. The Eluktronics does have a color changing keyboard, but the Gigabyte does not.

For a cheaper option, look into the MSI Apache Pro for $1200. Although I would suggest pushing up for the Eluktronics P650 if your budget can afford it. The build quality and display would be a bit better.

The display in that one seems to be TN but actually a quite decent TN when it comes to contrast and viewing angles, but it's not great when it comes to brightness.

I'm sorry man, this is the closest one I could find in your price range with a gtx 1060, it's 200$ more but there might be cheaper ones maybe by other companies

Cheaper and I dont think very highly about it.

Got GE62VR MSI Laptop in work and cannot complain about it - GTX1060 is enough to run Inventor though so gaming should be easy ;)

That's a good choice as well. I know it's closer to my price range but I feel like it's a better deal to get this with the 6GB version of the 1060 for $1199. It's 4gb less ram but it's the 6gb version of the 1060.
