Here is the [recipe] (https://thedomesticrebel.com/2016/08/15/the-best-butterbeer-cupcakes/) I used. I tweeked it a little bit to my liking. I used a mold from [amazon] (https://www.amazon.com/Cybrtrayd-A126-Protective-Copyrighted-Instructions/dp/B000EBMUNU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1511559193&sr=8-2&keywords=harry+potter+chocolate+frog+mold) and stuffed the dark chocolate frogs with butterscotch chips. I added bits o' brickle to the icing before placing the frogs on. Trying to make fetch Harry Potter holidays/Christmas happen and used Thanksgiving as an opportunity to start. My in-laws loved it, but it didn't turn out quite as I would have liked especially since I was pressed for time. [edit: I don't know how to format, guys]

I made them myself. Melting chocolates are relatively inexpensive (you can find them at most any craft store) and I ordered this mold off of Amazon.

Though you could try and of these also:Here, Or Here, Or these "sexy frogs," which actually kind of creep me out, lol.

The one I ordered used a LOT of chocolate.

I think making chocolate frogs from Harry Potter would be pretty awesome

I just ordered this candy mold to make some frog chocolates for my kids halloween party. $4.30 (w/ amazon prime) seemed like a decent price.

Rick and Morty keyboard-mousepad: https://smile.amazon.com/Anti-Slip-Water-Resistant-Stitched-Extended-Desktop/dp/B07H5PPTTL $25

Harry Potter Chocolate frogs and card: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AZJABLO/ $7 or Chocolate Frog mold if they expressed any interest in kitchen gadgets when mentioning gadgets: https://smile.amazon.com/Cybrtrayd-A126-Protective-Copyrighted-Instructions/dp/B000EBMUNU also $7

My favorite gaming mouse: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B06X3ZT78Q (also on my wishlist as I just got a new computer and need 2 - one for desktopn one for laptop). $18

And that take us right to the limit.

I know mice are pretty individualized though, so perhaps this alternate gift package would be better:

Ice Cream Play and freeze (gadget and gets them off the computer for about 30min): https://smile.amazon.com/YayLabs-Play-Freeze-Cream-Maker/dp/B009GFKIXE $39

Rick and Marty x Harry Potter shirt: https://smile.amazon.com/T-Shirt-Professor-Severus-Colored-Clothing/dp/B07KX19KPC $20

Ack! I went over. I always do that. Oy. Anyway, maybe spme good ideas there.

I think you will want this, this (for chocolate frogs!), this (I think you could simplify it a little), and these recipes.

I bet it'll turn out awesome! I'm kind of jealous, I want a Harry Potter Party :)

I will be working alone in the office from 1:30pm to 8pm, after being at school from 8am to 1pm. No decorations or pumpkins even :(

I am going to see if I can wear my giant penguin onesye to school and work Friday to maybe be a bit excited, but haven't found out yet.

I am so looking forward to moving next year and having a normal houred job where I can actually give out candy for Halloween!

We do have plenty of candy to give out so hopefully my boyfriend will answer the door. I flew with a foster cat cross country a few weeks ago and prepped a bunch of little candy bags to apologize to anyone on the plane bothered by the cat crying, but the cat ended up not crying at all so I have a ton of candy lol.

The best under $5 things for Halloween off my wishlist are:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/3NMO46TJ546BP/ref=cm_wl_rlist_go_o?sort=universal-price&view=null&id=3NMO46TJ546BP and this is my 'random shit that would make fun cosplay bits' wishlist that probably has more Halloween-esq appropriate things.

We have a lot of bulk food stores where I live, so things like the Jelly Bellies we'll be getting from there, and the other bulk candy!
I'm using these: https://www.amazon.ca/Cybrtrayd-A126-Chocolate-Copyrighted-Instructions/dp/B000EBMUNU to make the chocolate frogs. It's super easy and they look soo cute!
