Dakota Digital SGI-5ELatest Design - Universal Speedometer Signal Interface Controller
Latest generation design from Dakota Digtal the SGI-5E builds on the awesome SGI-5C, adding to the flexibility of use, ease of use and overall quality. Dakota Digital is a great American company. The changes made the SGI-5E were a result of Dakota Digital listing to their customers and finding out exactly what the SGI-5 needed. The market asked, and Dakota Digital delivered!Update: Allows up to a 16x multiplication, taking a 8kPPM signal and converting to a 128kPPM outputUpdate: Includes a regulated 5V sensor output, allowing use of our SEN-01-5 or similarUpdate: Terminal strip has been brought inboard, allowing a smaller footprintUpdate: All setup, calibration and diagnostics is now handled with the use of a built-in 3-digit LCD screen and + / – pushbutton switches (DIP switches have been eliminated). Push-in terminals have been replaced by Screw-in terminals. All changes completely due to customer feedback.

Just got a 91 Nissan Caravan Limousine edition with the huge sunroof option, vg30e automatic. Love this thing, people seem to react well to it here in TX.

Super low mileage on it, just trying to fix a few little things, and make it nicer to drive overall. I've ordered a 88 Vanette factory shop manual on ebay in english, hopefully that is of some help for certain things, it was cheap, we'll see. I'm trying to find a wiring diagram for this thing, or at least this year, so i can figure out a few things. I'd like to run a VSS calibration device so that 1: it shows up as MPH instead of K's, and 2: The cruise control works over 60mph, as right now it is limited to 100km/h. This unit looks promising. I also want to know more about the steering wheel control wiring, i think i can adapt it with a converter box to a modern radio, and i'd like to change out the JDM aftermarket clarion with a busted button and FM stations that top out at 90.0 :P

edit: album of pics, i need to take more but go figure the second i get a van with a sweet sunroof it starts raining all week
