I'm sorry if this doesn't help you, but maybe it will help others. I recently got this Daystar mount on Amazon, but its only for Jeeps 2011 and newer. Works great if you have the upper dash compartment as on the newer JKs.

I also tried the iMagnet dock and found that it didn't stick well to the dash or hold the phone well to magnet. But I also read that suctioning it to the windshield works better, so may worth a try for your situation.
