It won't ruin the paint as long as you use Windex and wipe it off as soon as you get all the sticker gunk off but this stuff is amazing. I've been able to get the most stubborn stickers off of any surface without damaging the surface. Also, De Solv It is the best bong cleaner on earth, and trust me, I've tired a lot of different cleaners.
I'll always have a bottle of De Solv It in my house as long as I live.

In all my years of trying to get adhesives off of stuff, De Solv It is the best stuff ever. I don't know what's in this stuff to make it so effective but I do know it doesn't use a petroleum base so it won't melt plastic like Goo Gone and Goof Off will. Also, it doesn't smell like it's going to give you cancer like Goo Gone or Goof Off does.
Also, in all my years of cleaning bongs, De Solv It is the best stuff ever! Get a stopper to cover the stem hole, do about 10-15 squirts into your dirty, flithy, nasty ass bong and pour some hot water into the bong and let it soak for about 15 mins and that grime will magically come off the sides of your bong.
De-solv-it is by far the best gunk remover I have ever found. They have a contractors strength version which is more concentrated than the original. I prefer the original version for stain removal on clothes, the contractors version for tough jobs like yours:
