An HP Spectre x360?
Comes with an active Synaptics digitizer. Any Synaptic based pen will work, e.g. the Dell Active Stylus (as you can see in this demo).
Your best bet is the most recent Dell Synaptics pen which you will find here for instance (though the one I got way back was model number 750-AAHC).
In any case, though Synaptics tech is not as good as what Microsoft and Wacom have to offer, I found it good enough for note taking purposes when I used my Dell Venue 8 Pro for that purpose. It is not too smooth, but it isn't that bad provided you find a good stylus and use something like OneNote.
Synaptics styli will work with the hp spectre. This includes the official one and the dell one
The dell one has been reported by many to be slightly to significantly better, but with strangely short battery life.
this one, battery life is solid for my needs---I think after 8am-noon lecture I'd be at 50% if I remember correctly. I could avoid bringing my charger in too, which it's nice to leave at home if you can afford to.
