Apologies, rook. Communications got scrambled for awhile. Most of us put in a requisition order at https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00362TVN6/ref=psdcmw_2514571011_t3_B005LDBCC6

Hopefully Gunny can get you your order quickly, over.

My #1 piece of advice it to practice painting some $5 soldiers first. You will get better quickly.

My second piece of advice is that most dish soap, water and a cup, along with a toothbrush, will take much of the paint off one you mess up (if done recently).

My third piece of advice, is to go with simple stuff like washes, instead of just going straight for the jugular and full on detail painting. Look what simple things look like. Do them first. Then try more complex things.

Don't go overboard on materials. Buy rich colors, some iridescent mix in, a mix of brushes in a bag, and a black, grey and white spray primer. The difference between the primers is often the big deal.

http://www.how-to-paint-miniatures.com/miniature-painting-base-coat.html is great advice, and 99% of the way to do anything well in life it to take unimaginably more time at it than anyone would expect.

From the reviews, it looks like not everyone gets the same troops. So YMMV from what I'm reviewing below.

Lower quality molds, but they're stable and good looking. No DOAs.

Very small. This can be good because you can fit a lot (all 36 even) in your pocket without discomfort. They are also easy to hide. For scale (next to "normal" sized green army men): http://imgur.com/a/SIfh1

They are pretty lightweight, so they can be hard to get to stand upright, but none of the bases were crooked. I also had a few blow over on windy days.

Good diversity of poses.

Etching their bases was difficult, but the plastic is not too hard. I used a push pin.

The pictures on amazon are NOT accurate in really any way.

$0.15 per soldier. This is a very good value. Cheap enough to be your main force, but not cheap enough to send them into the breach alone.

I will likely buy another set of these very soon.

Over.
