Sorry to read about your injuries. Hope you recover quickly, although roadrash can be about the same level of pain and discomfort as 2nd & 3rd degree burns. A lot of doctors and nurses don't inform patients about over-the-counter pain relief sprays and ointments.

Oh, and next time just put on your emergency blinkers, call AAA and have them deliver a gallon of gas to you. Even if someone pulls over to help push your vehicle to the side, you'll still need the gas, and if someone doesn't help, at least they're on the way to do so. You'll need to become a member, of course. Delivering gas isn't even considered to count as a full towing service (limited number per year). It's damn dangerous to push a vehicle.

My skin rips sometimes when I wipe. Fucking is awful. I’ve never treated them, though I’ve thought about buying the pain spray some mothers use after birth that helps with pain and infection. Also some women use witch hazel after birth to help, in little pads. I think of this too. Have a bad rip last couple days, so I can commiserate. None of mine have ever been infected.
