Besides the fingernail issue, I was also worried about breaking the cover and losing the waterproofness. With this setup, I rarely have to connect to USB and it charges just as fast. It's measurably thicker, but it's hardly noticeable. I couldn't be happier with this setup. I'm shocked that all flagship phones don't come with inductive charging standard.
I have the official samsung wireless charging back, the wireless charging pad for the s4 since it's bigger and the phone fits on it better. It works pretty well, it takes about twice as long to charge though but it's much more convenient. I could wish for some more bul to it, or a hard plastic shell kind of thing like the Spigen Tough Armor, which I wish fit with the backplate.

I got the only thing I could find that was compatible with the factory wireless charging back. Nothing special but I like it fine. Has at matte feel to it that doesn't catch on my pockets and is better protection than nothing. Doesn't hurt that it's cheap either.
