Hey ya’ll! I made some butterfly pea-infused gin and wanted to try it in a familiar cocktail. I went with the Corpse Reviver #2. Since it turns from blue to pale pink (like warning a frozen body), why not “Reviving the Corpse.”

In the video above I show the mixing. Here is the finished drink: https://i.imgur.com/EfaiUHH.jpg

Here is my tasting analysis: https://i.imgur.com/DNEvFc9.mp4

Basically there a subtle floral taste that I really liked in the balance of the often overly-citric cocktail.

Corpse Reviver #2
3/4 oz gin (butterfly pea-infused, see below)
3/4 oz triple sec
3/4 oz dry vermouth (Lillet Blanc)
3/4 oz lemon juice
1 dash of Pernod (some people like a rinse, either is good)

Butterfly Pea-Infused Gin
In a vessel, pour in 1 cup of gin. I used Beefeater London Dry. Then add 5-8 butterfly pea flowers. Let sit one hour. Strain the gin into a new vessel, to remove the flowers. Make sure it’s air tight, store at room temp as with any gin.

Definitely with a try. The flowers are dirt cheap, there’s literally no reason not to try this. A fun party trick at the least.

Try Amazon. If you have a decent asian market near you, they sometimes have it as well. I get mine from a place in Portland, OR and it's wicked cheap there.
