It's hard not to be a slob. Trust me, if I didn't have things in my life that required me to get up and get going, I would be exactly like you.

I keep a pretty simple routine that works for me, so here's a rundown of a few of my habits on cleanliness.

Some people shower in the mornings, others at night. I on the other hand shower any time I feel grimy. This means I shower any time I feel I need one, even if that means showering two or three times in a day. I put the water on slightly warmer than lukewarm, because hot water dries out your skin. I lather up my anti-dandruff shampoo first and leave it in my hair while I wash my body. I use Clear Men Scalp Therapy, because after using just about every other product on the market I've found it to be the only thing that works for me. Everyone is different, so experiment with different brands to see what suits you. But remember, you have to leave anti-dandruff shampoo in your hair for about five minutes to get any benefit from it.

I then wash my body with a loofa and bar soap. Men + Care is nice and moisturizing. Unscented soap is good if you plan on wearing cologne. I pay special attention to the sweatiest parts of my body (groin, pits, feet, etc). I lather up the soap and let it sit on those spots for a minute or two.

I then wash the shampoo out of my hair and apply conditioner. I don't have a preference on conditioner, I just use whatever my girlfriend has in the shower. It takes a few minutes for conditioner to do its magic, so I leave it in my hair while I wash my face. Here I pay special attention to my ears and nose.

I rinse off, wrap a towel around my waist and drape another over my back and shoulders while I get ready to brush my teeth, shave my face, and do my hair. To learn great techniques for shaving, check out /r/wicked_edge. I keep my hair pretty short, so doing my hair is pretty quick and painless. I get a haircut once every two weeks, and I use American Crew Fiber to style it. That stuff is amazing once you figure out how to use it. It takes a little practice. There are Youtube videos you could look up to find a great technique for your hair. Also, /r/malehairadvice of course.

By this time my body is dry (I don't rub the towels on myself to dry, I just dry off naturally because my skin is sensitive), so I take a little gold bond and spray it on my feet and my inner thighs. Gold Bond No Mess Spray Powder will change your life.

A spray of cologne (I use Abercrombie's Fierce...it's cliche I know, but it turns my girlfriend on) on my wrists and the back of my neck and I'm ready to get dressed.

Hope some of this helps!

I use this for body wash, er... soap. The smell is insanely strong from the bar, so my bathroom kinda smells like it now. Still deciding which shampoo I'm going to use, though.

This is one of the better car-cessories I've gotten recently. Only truly useful if you are in a Northern climate, but I sure do appreciate.
