It's more arcade-y than sim, but it's pretty good. The new weather effects are damn beautiful. The dynamic weather effects, especially the rain and snow, will blow your mind.

I picked it up and played about 15 minutes worth yesterday. The two cars I tried felt completely different in the 2 races I ran.
Worth a look, in my opinion. I think it fills a hole for racing games - Not a sim, not a total arcade game.

I also was waiting for the PS Plus version and then saw Amazon has it for $34.99. This is cheaper than the $49.99 PS plus full version, so I figured...why not. After seeing the weather effects, the cheaper price and reading about the improvement in online play, it sealed the deal.
