Halp!? My wife left all of her makeup stuff when she moved to the US, she picked up some cheap stuff because we were pretty strapped for cash and shes been using that ever since but I would like to get her some nicer stuff.

Can anyone help make some kind of recommendations? I tried your side bar guides but Those got me nowhere, I suspect they require a tad more general knowledge about this kind of stuff than I have, I dont really know what foundation blush etc even are so......... Please Halp?

I'm scared of jumping into something bold, so I thought my first palette should be a neutral one. This one had the right price and the reviews look decent!

I think the texture is good and pigment is rich, not too much glitter but a little shimmer, they don't leave too much fall on my cheeks with application, and I LOVE the two beige colors that are in the first two columns on the left, second row up from the bottom. I wish they just made those two colors in huge singles, because I love them as a base for a lot of things but also by themselves. At around $7 usually, I just end up buying a new palette when those run out b/c I never use up the other colors.
I got this palette at Target around Christmas for only $5. I use it almost every day and it's awesome.
I was not a fan of their liquid eyeliner or waterproof liquid eyeliner. One seemed flaky and the other was kind of a watery looking color.
I have the cream eyeliner and it stays on for a really long time, I just find it difficult to apply. But I could just be bad with cream liners. You might have better luck. Once it's on, it looks great and stays all night without smudging.
