I have this and it is seriously awesome with pet hair. We have two dogs and 4 cats and I run this at least every other day. It has a small cannister so it has to be emptied almost with every use but it's super easy to empty and maintain. I LOVE it. Really. It makes me way happier than a vacuum should. It has the pull out dust buster/handheld thing as well. A full battery charge will let me do my large living room and kitchen, stairs, and bedroom all in one go, but just barely.
If you have hard floors and not that much to pick up, this thing is ultralite and convenient in every way:
