gonna want them lower is the main thing. if possible bring the seating you are going to have into the room. sit down in it and measure to where your ears are from the ground and center appx on that. it will seem way too low, but you'll thank me. surround is specifically mixed to be played at ear level unless its a sub or a height speaker. might even consider raising the screen, or buying an acoustically transparent screen and putting the center behind it to keep all the speakers on the same level. it would have to be in-wall, which is tough with studs, but doable, or super low profile with a deepish screen for the latter, which your neck will thank me for. the absolute most important thing in surround is to put the speakers where they were when it was mixed which is at ear level and all even.

Then when I want to go movie theater style I bought something like this. Mine is the 200x50 I hang it from my eaves on my house with an eyelet kit I bought. I can find the link for the one I have when I get home if you are interested.

I went with the 5d in my setup (a tinge pricier, but a bit more gain) and had done black widow in a previous house. Paint might be the right choice if it's a kinda non-permanent college situation though. You just gotta be really deliberate in mixing and rolling it on as the aluminum in the paint mix will exaggerate any imperfections in your painting or the wall you're painting on.

Also have you noticed any issues with the slightly smaller viewing angle?
I'll message when I have all my dimensions! Thanks moldyeggos
