This is what I'm rocking and its awesome. Very thin and the holster is great for the gym if you want to use it.

Edit: not thaaaat light - but the weight of the phone is very nice still.
In addition to a case, try to get a case that comes with a belt-clip holder. Yes; they're not much better than your pocket, but it does help a little depending on the make. Something similar to this since Otterbox makes some of the best cases. Ghost Armor is pretty awesome too, BUT basically only prevents surface issues, not sheer issues and such that'd still crush the phone.
