The only way to avoid a controller is to pick up a PS4 Dongle which is like 10 bucks. But for the most part, I strictly use my F500 for PC only. Decided to grab a HORI pro 4 to play on consoles. The dongles plug into the controller slot and SHOULD work properly. I haven't tried this yet tbh

You don't really need a ds4 if you want to use it on the PS4. I play on PC, but when I head out to tournaments I just use this adapter
