Dreamgear grip for bottom, nice and big and rubbery

I did see another user mention this one and it has the triggers vertically so that would be more ergonomic than reaching over one shoulder button to get the other...

Been considering getting this one...

If you're looking for one with triggers, Gametech made one for the New 3DS XL:

I personally bought one myself to play MH4U, but I have a couple of complaints about the product. The first being that the ZR trigger button is always held down when I have the grip on (solved it by sanding down the trigger grip ever so slightly). The second is that it is not as comfortable as I thought it was because of the hard plastic material and the egg-shaped handles on the back. If you don't mind that, triggers work amazingly, and it ensures that you don't put too much pressure on the actual 3DS shoulder buttons.

If you want something more comfortable, I heard good reviews about the CyberGadget rubber grip. Though, I haven't personally used it myself.

I had the same issue until I bought a trigger/grip case for my 3DS. It makes it a bit more bulky, but I think it's worth it for the comfort.

I was having a problem with my hands cramping on the N3DS, so I bought one of these grips: http://www.amazon.com/GAMETECH-XL-Trigger-Black-new-3DS/dp/B00SGWGBSE

It puts the Z buttons below the regular R buttons on triggers. No more hand cramps or wrist pain. Might be worth a shot.

The only thing I could recommend is possibly buying a comfort grip. I just ordered this one off Amazon, unfortunately I can't tell you if it's any good yet.

I want to hunt more, but holding the n3dsxl is painful after awhile.

Yeah, it's pretty old now, but when it came out I only payed $30 shipped from Japan Amazon. You can get something similar for pretty cheap though.

I've found this which seems to be of questionable quality, but accomplishes exactly what I need from the triggers with my small hands:

Apparently this model does the same thing and is of much better quality, but is at a ludicrous price now:

I have this, but for the standard sized N3DS instead of the XL.

I bought it thinking I'd use it a ton for MH, but I just didn't like the way it felt. Everything else about it is fine.

It's been sitting on my desk for the last few months. If you want it, throw me shipping and a few bucks for beer and it's yours.

Let me know, I can text you pictures tonight if you like. PM me for details.
