Part of what went on back then is actually documented in this book:

See p. 32 which you can read in the free preview - targeted for talking about women's rights. Cheryl was one of the major bloggers back then who was taken out - the book sites 2007, so that must have been the year the attacks started, but as I said, this went on for a long time, multiple sites and women were attacked, women would try to set up new sites after losing their old sites and then those sites would be attacked too etc.
The whole book is worth a read.
Edit: the whole book isn't about what happened to radical feminist blogs, that is just used as one case study out of many to explore the violence and misogyny women experience online.
A lot of people have been and are doing this work.
Who is it a "huge blind spot." for exactly?!?
