why did I buy that wooden wrist rest, I always get the urge to hit my self with it.

I just recieved this one yesterday and i am extremly satisfied with it. I was already used to resting my wrist/pads on a wooden desk, so it wasn't a change for me. The material, despite being wood, is actually more comfortable than my actually wooden desk, wich was a nice surprise. In addition to that looks premium aswell. But beware that the Onyx one doesnt actually looks like the picture one, instead it's more or less a hard to describe half matte black. If you would be intrested i could provide a picture. Overall the perfect wrist wrest for my use case.
Does anybody have this wrist rest? What are your thoughts on it?
